We have exciting news that as of 1st January 2018 The London College of Music at The University of West London has appointed Garet Newell as a visiting Professor. This is an honorary position proposed by both Robert Sholl and Marcia Carr, who both teach there.
We are really pleased to announce Garet Newell and Simon Paul Ogden’s new book ‘The Feldenkrais Method for Executive Coaches, Managers, and Business Leaders’.
Our new Feldenkrais Four-Year Professional Training started August 2017. This is our eleventh training, and 2017 marks 30 years since Feldenkrais trainings in the UK began!
This course provides an intensive learning experience in the Feldenkrais Method for people who want to deepen their understanding of the Method for their personal development. It takes place in Hassocks, West Sussex for eight weekend segments over a year.
We are very excited to announce details of our next Four-Year Professional Training, called Sussex 11, starting in July 2019. It will be set in the beautiful village of Ditchling in East Sussex, set in the foot of the South Downs.
Our current Sussex IX training takes place in the beautiful East Sussex village of Ditchling, nestled at the foot of the South Downs and the magnificent Ditchling Beacon. Ditchling boasts its own Museum of Art + Craft which documents the art and craft community established in Ditchling in the early 20th century. Nearby are two single-estate vineyards…
“This gentle method is suitable for all ages and abilities, opening up a new world of movement.”
In April 2016 Sussex Living magazine featured the Feldenkrais International Training Centre.
